Damaris Rivera, a proud Rochester native, began her journey in real estate at just 21 years old with the purchase of a commercial property. While building her business, she served the City of Rochester for 13 years, working in the Emergency Communications Department and later as an appraiser for the Bureau of Assessments.

In 2019, Damaris founded R Realty Rochester, driven by her passion for creating a positive, ethical, and community-centered real estate firm. She is deeply rooted in Rochester, where she lives, invests, and completed her first development project in June 2022. Her expertise extends to luxury short-term rentals, and she is dedicated to helping others achieve homeownership and business ownership.

As a lifelong entrepreneur, Damaris is committed to sharing her experiences and knowledge to uplift her community. Her love for animals is also a big part of her life. She is a dedicated animal advocate, former rescuer,foster mom and continues to raise funds for local organizations. She ensures her clients find homes that accommodate their furry companions, a passion that traces back to her first business, Pinky's Pet Connection, a brick-and-mortar pet retail store. Damaris got the name “Rochesters Pet Friendly Realtor” as her passions collided. With her wealth of knowledge from the pet industry and savvy real estate experience, she is able to provide clients with unique pet related services.
